2009 PGA Merchandise Show

This years show was considered to be the smallest ever & reputed to be only 50% of that of previous years. This year it was also very noticeable outside in Orlando itself that the economy has & still is taking a real battering. Major eating chains such as Bennigans is closing this week along with some famous names night clubs & bars such as Dolly Partons night club & Bar. This has closed since last year & is now boarded up. It's sad to see what was once a thriving busy area looking so run down & empty.
This years show seemed quite busy however, but if you cut the floor space by 50% it doesn't take many people to give that impression.

We shared our stand this year with K-Vest who sold a good number of their Biomechanic vests. We were also very busy for the 2 1/2 days & managed to sell a good number of sofware programs & upgrades.
The release of our brand new Gasp HS software was very well received & sold well to our existing customers who wanted to upgrade & work with a one of the new high speed cameras such as the new Casio EX-F1 & FH25.

So a smaller show than usual but still good for us in terms of sales & install leads go. With the demise of firewire on cameras we are looking forward to a busy year & good sales of our new software programs. Included in both GaspLab & Gasp HS is our new Ebook (enter merv as user name & testing as password)creator which is set to be the latest big hit with coaches to sell to their students.
